Dunlop Customs offers consultation as a complimentary service. We know that each customer is different regarding level of experience and fabrication understanding. Many of our customers know they are in need of custom welding and/or fabrication, but are unsure of how to make it a reality.
If you are trying to plan your custom project and have an idea of what you want, but unsure of what exactly is involved, we provide consultation to review the details of the project and desired objectives to ensure we are on the same page in regards to understanding project details, and what is needed to meet your goals. You don't need professional design prints. All you need is an idea of what you want and a simple sketch, and we work with you on the details.

What is TIG Welding?
TIG Welding is an arc welding process using non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. Basically, TIG welding is best used for more complex projects, because it gives the operator more control over the weld, allowing for a stronger, higher quality weld. Dunlop Customs holds certifications in TIG and MIG Welding.

MIG WELDING

What is MIG Welding?
MIG welding is a process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal, which heats the workpiece metal causing them to melt and join together. MIG welding is the most general and common industrial welding process because of its speed, versatility, and ease. Dunlop Customs holds certifications in TIG and MIG Welding.

What Type of Metal can be MIG Welded?
  • High and Low Carbon Steel

What are the Benefits of MIG Welding?
  • Suffices general welding needs.
  • Good for low detail projects.
  • Less expensive.

TUBE FABRICATION - BENDING AND NOTCHING

Dunlop Customs is able to provide tube bending and notching services. Specialties include custom off-road accessories such as bumpers, rock sliders, roof racks, roll cages, and light bars. Custom motorcycle accessories such as handle bars, frames, and other tubular accessories can also be custom fabricated. Tube fabrication services are offered for the following sizes:
  • 1"
  • 1 1/4"
  • 1 1/2"
  • 1 3/4"

    CUSTOM HANDLEBAR ORDERING


    PRICING:
    All handlebars are set with a base price in raw steel. Any add-ons or alterations will be added to that base price. (example: Classic Z Bars $100 + Powdercoating $30 + Wiring Reliefs $25 = $155)
    (exmple: Classic Z Bars $100 + Stainless Steel $70 + Wiring Reliefs $25 = $195)

    HANDLEBAR OPTIONS:

    1.25 Machined Riserless Bosses- 1/2" x 13 Threads$20

    POWDERCOATING $30. Many color options available.

    RAW STAINLESS STEEL - starts at $70 and is only available for 1in tubing. Stainless is sold buy the foot for larger handlebars. 

    CHUBBY 1.25in TUBING - $50. I will have to neck down the grips and clamp area back to 1in so I will need to know how long to make each section to clear your controls and clamps.

    WIRING RELIEFS - $25. These are the equivalant of DIMPLES. I cut slots in the tubing with a mill to clearance the bars for you electrical to exit your switch housings. I require exact measurement of your controls.

    INTERNAL WIRING - $40. Run your electrical inside the handlebar tubing. This is not available for all handlebars. Any handlebar design that has a sharp mitered joint or alot of turns will make it hard to get your wiring through. Choose this option at your own risk.

    KNURLING$25. Ill need to know how wide you need the knurls and the spacing you need them in.
