This article is a recap from a bike that I had the pleasure of doing some fab work for in the early beginning of 2010. This was when I first started in my garage as you can see. This Yamaha XS 650 was and still is being designed for a really awesome customer who over the years has become a really good friend and has worked on many projects with me. My buddy Josh Storm has a little brother (he's not very little over 6') who is popping his cherry on his very first custom bike. Seeing is how Josh had already had some sold knowledge of what it takes to build a XS 650, he decided it was a great building platform for his brother. We chopped up the frame in the rear and cleaned up all the mounting brackets that where not needed. Then came the top rails and the hidden battery electrical box. The seat has some suspension to it which will make for a comfortable ride. Now for Josh and his brother to decide on what color they want everything to be and wire it up. Can't wait to see this beast on the road. Thanks for the years of support Josh.
